Pink Saturday

Hi there, Happy Pink Saturday!

Well it's that time of year again.......... To prune my roses. I live in Southern California and about this time every year I prune my roses. This year I want to plant some old English roses bushes. So I thought I would share some images of some of the roses I would like to plant. I look at these pictures and I can just imagine how wonderful they must smell!

Thanks for visiting and please go to howsweetthesound.typepad.com to see more Pink Saturday blogs!

I love growing English roses (David Austin roses), but I find they did better in my Pacific Northwest garden where they got a little more winter cold. I have a couple that do all right, though.

I have good success in Southern California with tea roses and china roses.

So gorgeous. I love roses. We had them in California, but the deer always ate the blossoms before they could open up. Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Gina! Check out those Roses! Eeek! Soooo beautiful! I am coming to LA, you should drive up to meet and do lunch. I am thinking on inviting a few bloggers from our circle of friends on here. Think on it....sometime late April-early May. Not all planned yet. I would love to meet you and see where all this talent oozes from!
