An amazing book!!

I just finished reading The Shack. It's been a long time since I've been so moved by a book! Last year I finally read and finished the Left behind series...Wow those were truly amazing...it took me a long time to want to pick up a book and read after I finished that series. I wanted to remember them and soak in the experience of it... I guess I really felt something deep inside that I just wanted to keep with me (does that make any sense?). Well this book has done that to me again. I want to tell every single person I meet to read this, you can't read it and have it not affect you in some way. It is just so special. Make sure you have a box of tissue handy.

It's time for Prayer!

Good morning,
I just got back from a morning walk with my dear friend, as we were walking we started talking about the upcoming election and what a scary time this is for our children, for us as citizens and our country! I feel like the very principals this country was founded on are in real jeopardy. I know am being bold here , I just feel so convicted to say something. So many people seem to have their eyes closed as to what will happen if Obama is elected! I know that it is all in God's hands and that we just have to trust in him.......having said that we still need to come together now more than ever and pray! As Always thanks for visiting!

How about a little Maire Antoinette! I love the movie that Sophia Coppola directed, she kinda puts a modern twist to it. Great Music! The costumes and set design were visually beautiful! My daughter has been asking me to paint a picture for her, "just like Hilary's". I told her that I couldn't make it just like hers, because I made just for Hilary. I told Zoe I would make one "just for her" she said okay with just one request to please make her doll with the same pose as Hilary's, so I agreed. So here is the painting for Zoe.

Yea, It's officially Fall!

I woke up to a grey and cool morning, with the anticipation of rain. We do not get a lot of rain here in Murrieta, Ca. We get instead a lot of heat and then more heat and then just when you think it's fall we should start to cool down no, instead we heat up....but not today! So we are supposed to have a couple of cool days and then heat up again by the beginning of the week. So today I am going to enjoy every minute of this cool day! I think I might even do some baking, how do oatmeal chocolate chip cookies sound and maybe some pumpkin bread? Did I mention that Fall is my favorite season? I know that might sound strange coming from a California girl born and raised, but yes it's true...I long for the four seasons one of my favorite places this time of year is Utah. Well I could go on and on.... Have a wonderful day I know I will and here are some pictures of fall just to get you in the mood for fall.
